Lakota Lookout | 4BR Hot Tub, Across from Resort

The place was great for our family. Plenty of room, close to the hill and overall we would stay there again. Our only concerns were that I found a clump of long black hair in the main floor shower and that the lower floor windows did not have properly working window opening and closing tracks. We forgot to run the dish washer when we left and that is on us for sure. As Colorado gets warmer every year it is unfortunate that the home does not have air conditioning because it was hot in July. We would stay there again it is just an older unit that needs some attention.

The house was pretty & worked fine for what we needed it for. But our group felt like it was not cleaned well. There was spoons and dish ware that had old food crusted on them. There was stains on some sheets, the extra blanket were gross & dirty, smelt musty & dusty. Didn’t want to touch the. There were clumps of hair in the corner of the living room. There was pet hair in our bed & on our comforter. One of the main selling points of this house is the view. And the blinds were broken, so we paid a lot of $ for a gorgeous view & didn’t even get it): We also felt that the description of how close the shuttle is was not accurate. Walking up hill in your ski gear & carrying your gear was awful. Not to mention we had to wait over 30 mins each time at the Schutte stop because the bus was full each time it passed us. Nice house, but overall disappointing.

The townhouse worked well for our group of 10. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking. However the smoke detectors are very sensitive, so I recommend opening windows and doors when using the oven or stove. The green line shuttle to Winter Park is one block from the townhouse and runs every 20 minutes. This was an effective way to get to and from Winter Park. One other piece of information - the hot tub is only accessible through the downstairs bedroom.

Absolutely loved staying here! We had the best views and it was so peaceful watching the skiers on the mountains every morning with coffee. We grilled and chilled in the hot tub during a heavy snowfall, and played tons of games + puzzles that were provided. The place was super clean, cozy, and just perfect. A huge perk was all the free shuttles and access to literally everything we wanted too - skiing, tubing, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, & grocery stores. And the host was friendly and very responsive. Our family will 100% be back and booking this exact location - it was all around amazing and exceeded our expectations! Thank you guys for having us!

Perfect location for family ski trip. Right across the street from the winter park resort. There is a shuttle but we just drove since it was so close. You could walk, but it’d be .5 to 1 mile to walk. Service was great, clear, and responsive.

This was a great location. Very close to Winterpark Resort and Cooper Creek Square. The house is very nice, spacious and comfortable. The hot tub is fantastic after a long day in the snow. We only used the shuttle/bus service and once but it was easy to use. Host was very responsive.

This is a very nice property across the highway from Winter Park Resort with a beautiful view of the ski slopes, four bedrooms, a kitchen with complete cooking utensils, a private hot tub, a garage and plenty of parking. It's one of the best condo layouts we've encountered in Colorado with bedrooms spread across three levels. The seven of us did not feel that we were tripping over each other. The host communicated via text messages and was very responsive, even on the weekend. We had issues with the electronic door lock. Upon arriving, our given code didn't work, nor did several others the host had us try. They reset the lock remotely so that we could get in. They brought us pastries the next morning as an apology. Yum! Later, the code magically changed and again locked us out. Weird! Other than the lock, there were no problems and we had a great time.

My family and I traveled 17 hours from South Texas to visit Colorado for the first time! The check in process was super easy and the property managers were very helpful and responsive. The home was beautiful and the view from all windows were spectacular! Very cozy, my family and I felt right at home! 10/10 experience! We would definitely love to stay here again in the future!

The place was nice and as described, we enjoyed our stay. There was some trouble getting in when we arrived. The code we were given to the door did not work. We had to call the company and explain the situation to someone on call before being transferred to a manager and given a different code. It took about 30 minutes to get inside. The cleaning company also had missed a few things. The previous trash was left in the garage so it was full and stinking. There was also some debris that had been missed in the hot tub. The rental company did come by and pick up the trash and offered to clean the hot tub for us again, so overall it was still a good experience, just a little extra headache. The location was great, and the scenery was beautiful!

We loved staying in winter park, and the rental company was very kind and helpful and answered all of my concerns. The owners unfortunately have PIN code locks on all of their TVs and refused to work with the host to provide them so the TVs in the airbnb are useless. The rental company did purchase a Roku for the main room so we could hang out and watch movies at night, so that was good enough for us.
