From Visit Winter Park Lodging to Stay Vara
The company was founded in 2015 by Philip and Eric Vandernail as Visit Winter Park Lodging.
For years, Visit Winter Park Lodging built a trusted name for vacation rentals in the heart of the Fraser Valley — the kind of reliable, personal service that comes from knowing the mountain and the people on it.
In November 2023, Bentley Biggar purchased the business, stepping in as a hands-on owner and investing in the team, the operations, and the standard of care behind every home. In 2026, the company rebranded as Stay Vara — a new name for the same local roots, and a bigger vision for what mountain hospitality can be.
Through every chapter, one thing hasn't changed: this is a business run by people who genuinely care about the Fraser Valley and the owners who trust us with their homes.
