Hidden River Ranch | 47-Acre Views, Hot Tub

One of the most unique places we have stayed in Colorado! Very private but still close to town. We really enjoyed the two decks and the spacious home was very comfortable. The hosts are very accommodating and provide everything you need and then some. Would highly recommend this cabin/home to others!

My first impression was a let down. While the views were fantastic, the home itself needed a lot of TLC. While it was definitely clean, it was older and had seen a lot of wear and tear. I was disappointed, and felt the money paid out didn’t match the quality we’d received. The list is too long to describe everything and I hate having to give a less than excellent review, but I felt the next guest should know. We lowered our expectations and went on to have a great vacation, but wouldn’t stay again.

Great communal space with living room/dining room/kitchen all open so nobody feels left out when it's time to cook. Well stocked kitchen for making food for a larger group. The rooms feel quiet/private and it's a nice touch that all of the upstairs rooms have their own bathrooms and all have great views. Very satisfied with our stay!

Can't say enough positive things about Hidden River Ranch :: Especially for our large 10-person, two-family group. We stayed here for our annual "pre-Christmas" re-connect with adult-kids and significant others flying home to Colorado from all over the USA. Plenty of together space that handled our numbers, and privacy for all as needed. Just down the road from all the fun+games that Winter Park/Frasier have to offer. We were allowed to bring our older, furry friend to join the family jamboree - so it was a complete experience for our crew. The 360 degree views and privacy (read: not in an neighborhood setting) were differentiators ... Two decks, fire-pit, hot-tub, giant TV, great dining room table provided all of the vacay stay xtras that were certainly nice to have. Thank you :: We will be back!

We had a very comfortable 4 nights for 8 people. The outdoor fire pit and hot tub were very nice even in some pretty torrid cold. Nice place.

Well equipped home with a great layout to accommodate multiple families; very scenic location! Highly recommend 4x4/AWD vehicle to get to location in case of snowy weather. There’s a wonderful neighbor who plows the road, making it safe to drive, and the property management company lets you commute directly with him for convenience. Looking forward to coming back next year!

This place was perfect for our family cabin trip. Lots of space for a big group, so it never felt crowded. The common area was perfect for everyone to cook, eat, drink, play games and watch TV together. You can get to plenty of stores and restaurants in Fraser and Winter Park with a quick 10-15 minute drive, so we found the location convenient but also private. The property was very quiet and peaceful. The scenery was absolutely beautiful from literally every side of the house. We’re already planning to return next year.

It's a great well equipped big house, but a bit challenging during the summer due to the heat and dry weather which makes it almost impossible to enjoy the house without AC. The property is beautiful and located in a very quiet and private place. No deliveries of food, so make sure you stock up on groceries. Not too many great restaurants around, but the house storage, barbecue, and it's amazing kitchen should provide you all you need for an unforgettable family feast. Bottom line - go for it!!! Go prepared, but definitely go for it!!!

The house is beautiful and matches the descriptions. Perfect for a mountain getaway. Host was very prompt and thoughtful. The only downside was a few uncleaned things around the house. I notified through a review so I believe these willl be addressed for the next guests. Would definitely stay at the house again.

Place was beautiful, clean and accommodated all 10 of us quite comfortably. Too few dining room chairs; 3 had loose connections and had to be repaired by me (found the right tool in the garage). The cleaning fee of over $500 is way too steep; except for linens & towels, garbage & recyclables (bins in the garage were full when we got there), we left the place nearly as clean as we found it. Request for driveway plowing went unheeded and we got conflicting on-line directions depending on which of two zip codes provided was used.

Nice & helpful hosts! Check-in was easy, directions were clear. The views from the home were exceptional. The HOA plowed the road & driveway after snowfall which was helpful & necessary since blowing snow made the road almost impassable with a 4WD Tundra & snow tires. This house was likely a gem previously, but needs TLC! One of the electronic blinds in the living room was cockeyed & clearly broken. There was a chunk of hearth that had broken off and then been glued in place previously, but fell during our stay. The sliding glass door didn't close all the way & when we arrived there was a 3" pile of snow inside the door. It took 2 people & some ingenuity to get it closed. The house is DARK in the main living/cooking area and needs LOTS more lights. Winter access to the hot tub is through one of the bedrooms vs going out the broken door and down snow-covered stairs - leaving the occupants of that room with little privacy. For the money we paid, we expected a much nicer house.

Our stay surpassed our expectations. The home is warm and inviting, well maintained, and full of amenities. But, what really made our stay was the location. Perched on a hill amidst an open valley, the unobstructed 360 of mountain views as spectacular and a perfect backdrop to a relaxing weekend. Highly recommend.

Do not hesitate to stay at this gem. The views are worth every cent. Although there were only four adults and one toddler in our party, the place is clearly meant to accommodate many more. We were looking for a peaceful place in the mountains to get away for a few days and it was perfect for us. Winter Park is close and offers a nice variety of activities, although we spent most of our time at the house. Would love to come back with more family members, if we can get everyone’s schedules to align. It would be a wonderful place for a family reunion. Loved our time there!

An AMAZING location and property management was great at communication. The house is very beautiful and has every amenity one needs to enjoy their stay. The view from the property is UNBELIVABLE! 360 mountain views and a valley landscape. Me and my friends had a ton of fun tubing and swimming in the creek. Note: the trek back up to the house from the creek can be difficult if you have knee problems, but otherwise was easy to get to and from. Overall, one of the best stays we have ever had in Colorado. I'd give it an extra start if I could. Already planning another trip in the future.

This is a great spot for a family or friend group to get together. The property is on a ridge in the middle of a valley so you have the best views with plenty of deck options to look out from. Easy drive into town to get supplies or to hike around. Great house and amenities and the welcome packet was the cherry on top. Hope to be back with a group of friends in the future.
