Founders Pointe Studio 4471 | Steps to Gondola

This was our second time staying in this unit. We love it! It's a great complex. We love the giant hot tub and the mountain view. Once you go slope side, you never go back. It's perfect to lock your skis/boards in the locker and walk right across to the gondola. We'll be back next year again hopefully!

Not ski in ski out. Was a short to medium walk to the hill. Overall was looking for something closer to the mountain and found the advertising as ski in and out false when it’s about a 5-10 minute walk to the gondola

At Winter Park Resort there are no true ski-in/ski-out properties at this location, but the building is within walking distance of the base area and gondola. Beautiful location right at the base of winter park! Made our trip easy. We never left the area. The new hot tub is great! Large pool size hot tub facing the mountain with outdoor grills and fireplaces. Ski lockers were super helpful!

Closest place to ski resort that we ever stayed, so close to ski rentals within the resort, parking was additional $20 something a day. Everything was accessible. A little too much to pay $20 per hour for late checkout. Did not have a choice as we needed some place for sick kids to rest before the flight. Luckily late checkout was available as no one rented that unit the next day. Would have preferred a discount given we stayed a while. Try shopping enough on the way as Safeway is close but you never know how the drive would be with the weather. Especially medicines as altitude sickness is highly possible as base camp is at very high elevation.

We had a wonderful stay! If you're visiting Winter Park resort you can't beat the location and this apartment was perfect for our family ski trip. The apartment was clean, well equipped and as described and depicted in the photos. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect location right in Winterpark village. 2 min walk to the gondola, can’t beat that. The host was very responsive and wanted us to have a great time. Would stay here again!

Our stay at the Airbnb was an unforgettable winter getaway! The location a five minute walk from the lift made our experience incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The location provided stunning views of the slopes from the hot tub , creating a cozy ambiance. The attention to detail in the chalet's design and amenities showcased a perfect blend of comfort and style. The host's hospitality was exceptional, checking in to make sure everything was great and ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a fantastic retreat, and we can't wait to return for another ski adventure. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a top-notch mountain retreat!

We really enjoyed our stay in Winter Park. The location of this condo couldn’t be more convenient to the base of the resort. It is immediately across the street. The condo fit our needs perfectly. It is perfect for two, might be crowded for four, but being so close to the hill it might be worth while for a family. We highly recommend this condo if you plan to recreate at Winter Park resort.

It’s a roomy studio. Kitchen is without an oven but more than adequate for purposes. The best part? The location! Walk across the street and get on the gondola.

The place is behind gates and you can only get in through one entrance by telling a gate guard where you are going. There was not in the instructions. Once we got in, the place looks fine and location was great. Room was very clean. The bed was miserably uncomfortable. From the other side of the room you can see the two sagging indentations where others have slept. Laying on the bed was worse than it looked. My wife moved to the floor where it was more comfortable. The room did not get dark at night because the curtains to not black out and the courtyard was very bright. The walls are paper thin and we heard every word, cough, and nose blow of our neighbors. The sleeping experience made everything else moot and was very disappointing.

Unfortunately there isn't much we can do about the thin walls and we are sorry about the sleeping. We understand that is such a struggle when you don't get sleep and need it!

Great place, that was as advertised. Hot tub crowd was noisy after hours one evening but we let the host know and it sounded like management was more on it the following two nights shutting down the hot tub at the closing time. Great stay and experience overall with a very responsive host.

Great place to stay! Communication was above and beyond as they were proactive in making sure our stay went well. In terms of distance to the village, its literally a crosswalk away. So easy and close. If you’re trying to decide between zephyr and founders point/Fraser crossing, chose here if you can go without looking at the actual slopes from your room. I think it’s completely worth the price. Make sure you review check in and check out times as they are pretty strict about it.

Great location for events at Winter Park resort. Directly across the street from base. Super-easy access. Others have mentioned no air-conditioning, but there was a fan in the closet and I was comfortable in late-July. With windows open, it can be a little noisy with the hot tub just outside, but that ended at 10 PM. Not a problem. Excellent communication from hosts and we’ll book again if this event (USAC Mountain Bike Mat’l Championship) returns next year.

Great location! Hot tub is large and nice after a day at the slopes. The sofa bed was very comfortable with no center bar problems. Communication was great and all the staff was super friendly!

Be warned, this unit does not have air conditioning. It's my own fault for not checking all the details, because when I went back and looked it does show that there isn't any. But if, like me, you do things in a hurry, you could end up with an unpleasant surprise. It would be fine in the winter, but in the summer it was really too hot to sleep. I kept the windows open all day and all night but it never cooled down. Other than that, the unit was fine.

The room was nice and clean, and looked like the picture. It was basically like a hotel room with a bit of kitchen stuff. But there was no A/C, and the temperature hovered around 80 even with the windows open and the fan running. We were disappointed that the hot tub was under maintenance throughout our stay, although the hot tub at the neighboring building was available to us (but management did not tell us this). They charged us $3 for parking (why?) the last day. This was the most affordable option in Winter Park, but I probably wouldn't stay here again.

Fantastic value in the summer for how close the condo is to the mountain (it’s less than a 30 second walk to the village). Everything was very clean and exactly as advertised. The hot tub and amenities are a huge plus as well, and really made the condo that much better. I will be hoping to come back and stay here in the winter!

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable studio condo. The unit appeared to be very clean, and the bed was fairly comfortable. The management company was good with communication and quickly resolved a minor issue we experienced. Thanks for the enjoyable stay.
